Managing Director and IFST Registered Food Safety Principal

Jay is a graduate of The University of Leeds, a Fellow of the Institute of Food Science and Technology, a Visiting Industry Fellow at the University of Salford and an IFST Registered Food Safety Principal (RFoodSP).

He has over 20 years of experience in the food and beverage industry he has also gained extensive experience in strategic management, food safety consultancy, HACCP Team Management, 3rd Party Auditing, Microbiology Training, Crisis management and contamination control around the world. He is the Principal Consultant at Foodtest Laboratories Ltd.

Operations Manager (Food Microbiology Consultant)

Following graduation as a Forensic Scientist Claire joined Foodtest as a laboratory analyst in chemistry and quickly progressed into Quality Control and then into the position of Microbiology Laboratory Manager.

Claire is responsible for ensuring that all aspects of laboratory operations run smoothly from Quality Management through to testing and reporting whilst meeting accreditation obligations. She is also responsible for ensuring that customers have a positive interactive experience with Foodtest and that reported results are reliable and sent on time.

Technical Manager (Food Chemistry/Nutritional Labelling Consultant)

Chris joined Foodtest in 2006 as Chemistry Laboratory Manager following graduation with a Masters Degree in Chemistry and quickly gained extensive knowledge in food chemistry and specifically Nutritional chemistry for labelling. Chris has recently moved into Technical Management and is responsible for Method Development, Accreditation Management and Food Label Reviews.
